2. According to Gateway's Windows 7 page, their only advice as far as compatibility with the operating system is to check the minimum system requirements for Windows 7 and compare to your PC.
3. The native drivers that Windows 7 provides will likely work for the majority of Gateway hardware manufactured before 2009. Otherwise, Gateway will likely provide their own Windows 7 drivers via their support site.
